VNU eMEDIA AND CLICKABILITY FORM ONLINE PARTNERSHIP

International Publishing Company to Integrate Clickability’s Complete Suite of Tools Across Its Network of Web Sites

San Francisco, Feb. 20, 2001 – Clickability Inc. and VNU eMedia Inc. today announced a partnership agreement to launch Clickability’s SAVE THIS™, EMAIL THIS™ and PRINT THIS™ tools for online publishers across VNU eMedia’s Web sites. Editor & Publisher (www.editorandpublisher.com) will be the first VNU eMedia site to feature Clickability’s complete suite of Web-based tools, which will replace existing in-house content sharing and printing products.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Editor & Publisher launch will be followed by successive rollouts on Adweek (adweek.com), Mediaweek (mediaweek.com), Billboard (billboard.com) and The Hollywood Reporter (hollywoodreporter.com). In addition, VNU eMedia plans to integrate Clickability’s tools across its network of 90-plus Web sites.

“The decision to replace our own in-house products with Clickability’s suite of tools was an easy one because of Clickability’s ability to provide in-depth reporting packages, create new opportunities for our advertisers and develop powerful viral marketing functionality,” said Sam Bell, Director of Business Development for VNU eMedia. “Clickability is providing us with the technology and the products we need to successfully integrate these services into our group of Web sites, which allows us to focus our internal resources on other matters.”

Designed specifically for online publishers, Clickability’s complete suite of brand-transparent, Web-based tools will be displayed on content pages throughout the VNU eMedia family of sites. SAVE THIS allows users to save article links and organize them into personalized, Web-based folders. Saved articles are also accessible in a wireless-appropriate format via any Web-enabled wireless device using Clickability’s SAVE THIS Wireless feature.

As part of the agreement, VNU eMedia also will receive tracking reports identifying the content that is being saved, shared and printed on its sites. Clickability compiles the aggregate viewing habits of readers and delivers that information to its online publishing partners in the form of customized reporting packages. VNU eMedia will be able to identify exactly how its online content is being interacted with by the online publisher’s readership.

“Online publishers are constantly looking for new ways to extend the life and reach of their online content and our tools provide a valuable solution based in viral marketing and behavior measurement,” said John Girard, Clickability’s co-founder and CEO. “With Clickability’s tools, VNU eMedia now can see exactly what users are doing with its content and what content they are doing it with. This type of information will provide VNU eMedia with valuable insight into the editorial effectiveness of its online content.”

About Clickability’s Suite of Tools Clickability’s core suite of brand-transparent tools includes SAVE THISTM, EMAIL THISTM and PRINT THISTM. Integrated directly into an online publisher’s Web site, SAVE THIS provides users with the best way to save, organize and share online content in easily accessible Web-based folders. Through SAVE THIS Wireless, Clickability automatically converts Web publishers’ online content into a wireless appropriate format, allowing registered SAVE THIS users to access their saved content through any Web-enabled wireless device. EMAIL THIS allows users to quickly share articles and Web content by clicking on the EMAIL THIS button on a publishing partner’s Web site. PRINT THIS automatically converts Web pages into a printer-friendly format by removing extraneous text and graphics, providing users with reformatted content that is easier to read in print. Clickability's Most Popular feature allows users to search and view listings of the most e-mailed, saved and printed articles across partners’ Web sites. The listings are organized by the most popular articles for the day, week and month.
