H&R Real Estate Investment Trust has secured C$425 million in financing to complete construction of a 58-story office tower in Downtown Calgary, Canada. The 42-month financing was provided by a syndicate of lenders led by RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities. The property--known at the Bow building--is set to serve as the headquarters of energy company EnCana Corp. Construction is scheduled to complete in June 2010, with occupancy beginning the following year. The tower was budgeted at a total cost of C$1.5 billion.
