228,000-SF Rockville Office Building Sold

Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers arranged the sale of One Choke Cherry, a 228,020-square-foot Class A office building located in Rockville, Md. The JBG Cos. acquired the asset which is 100 percent leased to the GSA. Cassidy & Pinkard represented the seller. Developed in 2004, One Choke Cherry is located at the intersection of I-270 and Shady Grove Road, within close proximity to downtown Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway.  The building is the cornerstone of the future mixed-use community to be known as Upper Rock District.  Upon completion, the site plan approved Upper Rock District will consist of 844 residential units, a 9,000-square-foot restaurant, 14,500 square feet of mixed retail and several parking facilities.
