Canyon Taps Ridini to Head Northeast Investment

Canyon Capital Realty Advisors has hired David Ridini to serve as managing director with responsibility for identifying and overseeing investment in the Northeast.

“We are thrilled to bring on a new member to the Canyon team with such a depth of quality investment experience in the commercial real estate markets,” said Canyon managing partner Bobby Turner. “Dave has originated and managed an incredible volume of deals throughout his career and delivered tremendous results."

Prior to joining Canyon, Ridini served as managing director in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group of Lehman Brothers Inc., where he was responsible for originating and structuring capital for real estate investments on a national platform. Throughout his time at Lehman, Ridini originated and managed a $5 billion real estate portfolio, which included 16 million square feet of commercial space and 26,000 residential units. Prior to his time with Lehman, Ridini was a vice president at GE Capital Commercial Real Estate, where he originated, structured and underwrote transactions totaling $3.6 billion.
