David Falk has been promoted to president of New York Tri-State region for Newmark Knight Frank. Falk, who joined the firm in 1996 and was named executive managing director and a partner in 2000, will lead brokerage operations in the Tri-State region while continuing to perform his tenant and landlord representation responsibilities. Within the past two years, he has been involved in the leasing of more than 2.7 million square feet of commercial space. Falk's promotion follows the recent hiring of David Simson as chairman of the firm’s Rutherford-based New Jersey operations and the promotion of Michael Ippolito to chairman of global corporate services.
