Snickers | "Barky the Dog"
June 16, 2003
BBDO/New York
"Are you really Barky the Dog?" asks a kid. "Barky is a cartoon," answers the amusement-park mascot. "I'm a grown man who's made a lot of mistakes." It seems Barky is a little peeved in this hilarious ad, cracking wise with the customers and dissing everyone in sight. VO: "Grumpiness, another unfortunate side effect of hunger." A Snickers bar is not going to solve Barky's problems, but it's cheaper than psychotherapy. Hey, you can go home again: Good to see Snickers a Best Spot once more.
