eBay | "Traffic Jam"
June 16, 2003
Goodby, Silverstein & Partners/San Francisco
This follow-up to the dot-com's successful "Do It eBay" anthem of a year ago does not possess the pizzazz of the original. Still, the woman protagonist has the same musical skills and physical talents as her pudgy predecessor. Stuck in traffic, she sings mostly about cars, trucks and motorcycles, but other sale items are also mentioned, including the bankrupt town -- Bridgeville, Calif. -- purchased at the auction site a while back. No mention, however, of the Nazi artifacts that eBay sells each and every day.
