Ogilvy & Mather/New York
As pro sports go global, the NBA needs to keep up. Look no further than Don Nelson of the Dallas Mavericks. Since he coaches a number of foreign-born players, Nellie -- using his Amex card, of course -- purchases a bunch of language dictionaries. To communicate with Tariq Abdul-Wahad, he speaks French. To communicate with Dirk Nowitzki, he speaks German. And to communicate with Steve Nash, he speaks Canadian, eh. Of course, after Sacramento's Peja Stojakovic gets through with his Mavs in the NBA playoffs this week, Nelson may want to learn a few Serbian curse words.
