Washington Mutual Bank | "Roy"
April 14, 2003
Sedgwick Road/Seattle
Meet Roy, a man who used to cower at the thought of securing a home loan. Then one day he meets a banker at Washington Mutual and his whole world changes. "Now Roy fears nothing," announces the VO. And it's true. He attempts to break cement blocks with his head, eats day-old sushi and motorcycles off cliffs. This three-spot campaign (Paul and Julie, too) is an accessible, hilarious way to pitch financial services. Tagline: "The power of yes."
