ESPN SportsCenter | "Rally Monkey"
April 14, 2003
Wieden + Kennedy/New York
Even the secret weapon of the world champion Anaheim Angels can't escape the economic downturn. Hired to energize ESPN programming, the Rally Monkey gets laid off. It doesn't matter that he's done a good job. Times are tough, and everyone's cutting back. Thankfully, ESPN is not downsizing SportsCenter advertising. That would be the cruelest cut of all.
